Jon Verdun began as a classically trained pianist but found his passion for folk and acoustic music in the 60’s.  Self-taught on guitar and five-string banjo, he formed the Spider Bridge Bluegrass Band in 1970, then after 13 yrs returned to folk music with the trio P, B & J.  Favoring story songs, Jon has recently concentrated on Tom Paxton, Bill Staines, David Mallett, and John McCutcheon, as well as writing some of his own songs.
