How to Get Tickets to Our Shows

ADVANCE TICKETS FOR CONCERTS AND COFFEEHOUSES: (no refunds or exchanges unless the show has been cancelled)

• Buy advance tickets (registration) through our website.  There is no ticket to print, but print your confirmation, and bring it with you.  Your name will be on the list of attendees at the door.  
• If we are not sold out, buy your ticket at the door.  Cash or check only - no plastic.
• Members must log in to purchase tickets at the Member Price.
• Non-Members can purchase tickets online at the Non-member price. 

Coffeehouse Ticket Prices

• Members $9.00
• Non-members $10.00

Concert Ticket Prices

• Members $18.00 to $33.00 depending on the performer.
• Non-members $20.00 to $35.00 depending on the performer.

Cancellations

• If it is necessary to cancel a concert or Coffeehouse due to weather,  a notice will be posted on the home page of this web site.  If a cancellation is necessary, full refunds will be made to pre-purchased ticket holders.

Audience Guidelines

• We love our performers and try to create a warm and attentive audience environment.
• Common Courtesy applies to performer and other audience members
• No flash pictures
• No cell phone Ringing, Use or Talking 
inside the performance area
• Doors open at 6:30 – no early admittance
• Please wait for clapping
• Conversation is quiet

Refreshments

Coffee, tea, soda, water, cider (in season) cookies (often home baked)

Email List Privacy

It is our policy to that we Do Not allow our email contact list to be shared or sold -nor do we use our email distribution list to promote anything else but the news of the SSFMC at First Parish Duxbury.

PERFORMANCE FORMAT DURING  CONCERTS

All Concerts begin at 7 PM and and have two sets, with a ten minute intermission in between, to stretch your legs, grab a snack or drink, and also purchase performer items, cd’s, T-shirts, etc.

PERFORMANCE FORMAT During COFFEEHOUSE/OPEN MIC 

This is a great opportunity for local performers to work before a receptive audience.  Try out new material or give us a taste of your music for a possible future booking or just have some fun.  We look forward to seeing you.

Open Mics:   Performers of all genres are welcome – poets, musicians, writers, comedians, etc. – if you want an audience, it’s yours.

Signing up:  On coffeehouse/open mic nights, sign ups begin when the doors open at 6:30 PM.  There are no early sign-ups and you must sign up in person on a first come, first served basis.

Format:  On coffeehouse nights, we book two paid sets – an opener starts the show at 7 PM and a featured act closes out the night.  The Open Mic takes place in between, before the break and after the break.  Open mic performers are each allotted up to an 8-minute set – ( a two (2) song maximum).   Time limits must be strictly adhered to in order to give as many participants as possible a chance to perform.

Sound:  We have a great sound crew who will help you hook up and set up.  If you have any special or unusual needs, talk to them (Mark, Mark and Richard) before the show to find out what’s available.
