The Lied To's are Susan Levine and Doug Kwartler, two Massachusetts-based singer-songwriters who joined musical forces in 2014. The duo took their name from the revered Everly Brothers song, "When Will I Be Loved.” Their second CD, The Lesser of Two Evils, released in 2018, received universal praise for its gritty instrumentation, impeccable harmonies and honest songwriting.  Tom Haugen of The Daily Vault calls it, “…nothing short of brilliant.”  And Red Line Roots writes, “If you dig the mix of gritty honesty and interwoven gorgeous harmonies of Shovels and Rope, then you are going to love The Lied To’s.”  

Acoustic roots songwriting duo Sparrow Blue (Katy Boc and Todd Nickerson) from Massachusetts released their first full length album Rabbit in the Moon in 2018, featuring fiddle, guitars, mandolin, banjo, harmonica and vocal harmony throughout. Rabbit in the Moon blends folk, country, bluegrass and old-time influences together with crafted songwriting to paint a musical picture of times gone by, hope, hard times, and new beginnings.
